System Logs
Those are internal event logs of the Website’s server, automatically recording website requests, sent when Users visit its pages. System logs contain page requests sent by Users, their IP address, the type of their browser, the language of their browser, date and time of the request, and at least one cookie file making it possible to clearly identify that User’s browser.
Cookies
Those are small files containing a string of characters; they are sent to and stored on the terminal (e.g. a computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone) which a User used for visiting the Website. Such information is sent to the clipboard of the browser being used which, in turn, uses it when the User pays subsequent visits to that website. There is information in cookies necessary for properly using the apartament.poznan.pl website.
Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they were received, their storage time on a given terminal device, and a unique number.
They make it possible to recognise a User’s device and to display pages of the Website adjusted to their personal expectations which makes using websites easier and more enjoyable. Due to the fact that those files are stored on the User’s device, it is possible to record data for signing in to websites, stay signed in after signing in, or match websites to user preferences such as content layout, language, or colour.
What kind of cookies are stored?
Three types of cookie files are used on the apartament.poznan.pl website:
- • Necessary files – they make it possible for the Website and functionalities which the User wishes to use to function correctly, e.g. authentication cookies. If they are not stored on the User’s device, it is not possible to use the Website.
- • Functional files – they make it possible to save settings chosen by the User and to adjust functionalities to the User’s needs, e.g. language settings, font size, Internet website layout.
They make it possible for the Service Provider to improve the functionality and efficiency of the website.
- • Business files – e.g. advertising cookies.
They make it possible to implement business models. If they are blocked, the quality of services may drop due to the Service Provider being unable to profit from advertising – an additional source of funding for the Website – but the overall functionality of the Website will not be affected.
Cookie Management
Browser settings usually allow cookies to be stored on the terminal device. If the User does not consent to such files being stored, they need to change the settings of their browser accordingly. It is possible to deactivate the creation of cookies for all connections made using a given browser or for a specific website and it is also possible to delete cookies. The way in which cookies are managed depends on the User’s software – this is why detailed information about whether or not it is possible to manage cookies and how to do it can be found in the settings section of the browser they use for accessing the Website.
Your consent to the use of cookie files is voluntary. However, you should remember that if you restrict their use, this may make it impossible or more difficult for you to use services offered on the Website.

They are not transferred to third parties, save as provided for in this document. In relation to access to the Website by Users, we may automatically gather and save in server logs technical details pertaining to the way in which services are used, requests related to electronic service provision transmitted by Users, IP address, and technical data pertaining to the functioning of the Service connected with steps taken by Users, particularly information about the start, end, and scope of every session of the service rendered electronically.
